Management Team

The Devicescape Software management team has deep experience in the software, consumer electronics and networking industries. The company's executives have held senior positions at leading technology companies, such as Hewlett-Packard, IBM, PalmOne, Sun Microsystems and Wind River Systems.

 

David Fraser
Chief Executive Officer

David Fraser came to Devicescape from Wind River Systems, the leading company in embedded platforms, operating systems and development tools. At Wind River he held a variety of executive positions including CMO, Senior VP/GM Product Business, VP/GM of Networking and VP of Engineering. In these roles he was instrumental in driving the company through industry-changing milestones including the release of many award-winning products, the transition to subscription business models, and ultimately the embrace of Linux.

His previous experience over a 20-year career include marketing and engineering positions at Unisys/Convergent, Hewlett-Packard and Racal Electronics. David received a BSc (Honours) in Computing Science from Glasgow University, Scotland.

 

Miguel Nhuch
VP of Worldwide Sales and Business Development

Miguel Nhuch has over 20 years of management experience bringing success to high tech start up companies. Prior to Devicescape, Miguel was the Vice President of Global Sales and Channels at Nominum. His experience includes direct sales into strategic accounts, as well as the creation and management of local, regional and global channels as well as strategic OEM partnerships.

Prior to Nominum, Miguel served in executive positions at Entrust Technologies, Weblogic (now BEA Systems), Forte Software (now Sun Microsystems) and at Ingres Corp (now CA). Miguel holds a bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering and Computer Science.

 

Simon Wynn
Vice President - Engineering

As vice president of engineering, Simon Wynn brings over eighteen years of industry experience building and leading successful development organizations. Most recently he served as vice president of engineering at Centrata.  Prior to Centrata, Simon spent six years at Marimba in a variety of positions, most recently as vice president of engineering and customer support. At Marimba he was responsible for all aspects of the company's engineering operations, including financial planning, staffing and product development processes, including the successful acquisition of Marimba by BMC Software.    Prior to Marimba, he worked in the new media, groupware and application server divisions at Oracle Corporation, and prior to Oracle at Dolby Laboratories Inc.

Simon received a Bachelors Degree with Honors in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of North London.

 

 

Bill McIntosh
Vice President - Marketing

Prior to joining Devicescape, Bill served as VP Marketing for HedgeStreet, a web based online derivatives exchange. Previously, over nine years at AOL, Bill worked on a variety of marketing, advertising, and new product assignments across several services including AOL Personal Finance, Netscape, ICQ and AIM Instant Messenger, and Digital City. Before joining AOL, Bill helped lead the development and launch of WashingtonPost.com. Bill began his career in 1989 at Warner Lambert Canada managing brands such as Dentyne and Rolaids.

Bill holds a BA from Queen's University in Canada, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
