The Devicescape Curator Auto-Connect component makes it easy to enjoy all the benefits of the Devicescape Curator Service, whether you're a mobile operator or a user. Leveraging the power of the Curator Client and the Curator Service Platform, it achieves automated authentication on any public network without any integration effort on the part of service providers.
This proprietary technology supports both Wireless Internet Service Provider roaming (WISPr) and UAM-based user authentication methodologies. Additionally, to make auto-connection easier, Devicescape maintains a large and growing registry of login methods that can be stored locally or retrieved dynamically online prior to authentication. End-user credentials can also be stored either on individual mobile devices or on Devicescape's servers.
As a result, devices can connect to mobile networks and to mobile operators' roaming partners with little or no user intervention. In the event that a connection fails, Devicescape channels the data flow back to the mobile network.
