Log on to AP Administration and View Basic Settings
Log on to the Administration Web Pages
When you access the Administration Web pages (by using the IP address of the AP in a Web URL), you are prompted for a user name and password. The Administration user name is admin (this cannot be changed) and the default password is admin.
View Basic Settings
When you log into the Administration Web pages, the Basic Settings page is displayed by default.
You can accept the current configuration settings for now, so there is no need to update settings on this page. If you do update these settings (for example, by changing the Administrator password), a Summary of Settings page will be displayed to show the new configuration and indicate next steps.
Now you can navigate through all the Administration Web pages and experiment with changing settings as you like.
Your Network at a Glance: Understanding Indicator Icons
The Basic Settings tab and all the Cluster settings tabs on the Administration Web pages include visual indicator icons showing current network activity. The following table provides an explanation of these icons.

For information about setting up user accounts on the access point for use with the built-in authentication server, see "Managing User Accounts" in the Administrators Guide. See also Administrators Guide Security topics "IEEE 802.1x" and "WPA with RADIUS", which are the two security modes that offer the option of using the built-in authentication server.
