Access point plugins for the device management agent (device-mgmt-agent)
|

Summary
The device-mgmt-agent-ap package contains the Device Management Agent plugins for the reference device implementation of the Devicescape Wireless Infrastructure Platform.
A Device Management Agent plugin typically translates between the object-oriented data model used by the Device Management Agent for configuration data and the configuration data as it is used and stored by a subsystem (such as ssh, NTP, and so on.)
When the Device Management Agent is started up (as occurs automatically at every powerup), the Device Management Agent loads the plugins, which, in turn, initialize the majority of the device's subsystems. The order the plugins are called in is also specified in the by the plugins.
Start/Stop Options
Device Management Agent are placed in /usr/lib/dman/plugins, and loaded and initialized by the Device Management Agent when it is started.

Building the Package
Follow standard instructions for building userspace packages in the Devicescape Developer Guide topic on "Building the Packages", see subtopic: "Building a Userspace Package from a Source RPM"
Network Interfaces
The following diagram shows a collection of typical Linux interfaces. As indicated, some of these interfaces are configured by the Device Management Agent, while others are dynamically created by the host access point daemon.
