Windows XP

Devicescape software works with Windows XP laptops to make connecting even faster and more efficient. We are currently supporting:

Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2
Windows XP Media Center Service Pack 2
Windows XP Home Service Pack 2
Windows XP Service Pack 1 is supported with required updates from Microsoft

Certain pre-installed wireless systems may interfere with the running of Devicescape. Check our forums and FAQ for more information.

Installing the WinXP binary

Browse to http://www.devicescape.com/download and click on Download Windows XP installation package now.
Note: You will be asked to agree to our Download Agreement. Click I Agree to accept.
Open devicescape-WinXP.msi file to install the package. The Devicescape Setup Wizard starts.
Click Next to start the Wizard.
On the License Agreement dialog box, select the I Agree radio button and click Next.
Select an installation folder to store the file. You can leave the default folder or click Browse to select a new one. Then click Next.
Click Next to start the installation.
Once installation is complete and confirmation message appears. Click Close to exit the Wizard.
Now installation is complete, the second part of the Wizard launches. Click Start to start the Setup Wizard.
If you already have a Devicescape Account, select Login using my current account and type your username and password in the relevant text boxes. Then click Next.

Note: If you do not already have an account, select Register a new account and you will be prompted to select a username and password.
Step 2 of the Wizard opens. You must now add services to your account. Click Next to open your Devicescape account.
When your my.devicescape.com account opens, click on My Devices to see your device listed.
If you haven't already done so, click on My Services and register the services you intend to use with your device. To register a new service, click on Add a new service.

Congratulations, you have now successfully added your device to the Devicescape.
