Easy Wi-Fi Makes AT&T Wi-Fi Even Better

Got an AT&T iPhone plan? Received a text message from AT&T telling you that you have free Wi-Fi access at their hotspots? We did too, but we think that all that switching between Safari and the SMS app is too complex. Here's how to make getting connected a single button push:

  1. Delete any existing AT&T Wi-Fi account from your Devicescape account (you won't need it anymore).
  2. Search for a new hotspot called "AT&T Wi-Fi (iPhone)" and add it to your account. Tip: You can find it by entering a search beginning "att".
  3. Enter your 10 digit AT&T iPhone telephone number in the box; there's no password needed.

You're done. Now, whenever you're in an AT&T hotspot, like Starbucks, launch Easy Wi-Fi and we'll log you in. No need for Safari, no need to wait for a text message. Easy!

If you don't already have Easy Wi-Fi for your iPhone, it's available at the Apple App Store.

If You're an AT&T Broadband Subscriber

If you have an AT&T broadband account you likely can use AT&T hotspots in the US with your home broadband username and password. If you can't remember them, dig them out from your home router! Add the hotspot account "AT&T WiFi" to your Devicescape account. Be sure to type in the full username, including everything after the "@" sign, since AT&T has several different domains in use (e.g. joeplumber@attwifi.com or soccermom@sbcglobal.net)

If You Have a Starbucks Card

If you're a Starbucks lover and have a card, you can get 2 hours of free AT&T Wi-Fi per day. Sign up for the card and you can enter the username and password into your Devicescape "AT&T WiFi" account. Remember to include "@attwifi.com" after the username they give you.

Best wishes,
