The Easy Wi-Fi Network is Devicescape's own virtual public hotspot network that provides devices with a high-quality, global Wi-Fi network. In comparison to traditional approaches, the Easy Wi-Fi Network provides a much larger access footprint at a much lower cost.
For device manufacturers, the Easy Wi-Fi Network solves the problem of Wi-Fi service access for end users. Rather than leaving the problem to the user, or managing the economic challenge and fragmented coverage of bundling traditional commercial access, the Easy Wi-Fi Network allows products to be shipped “service included”. - Instant access without the need for user intervention on the device. The Easy Wi-Fi Network uses our Managed Hotspot Client to automate access so that the Wi-Fi experience is similar to cellular.
- Users may extend the Easy Wi-Fi Network to form their own personalized access platform, by adding their own personal hotspots and accounts (including bundled plans). Alternatively, the Network can be extended transparently without user involvement, using Devicescape web APIs.
