Devicescape offers a complete solution for PC manufacturers called Easy Wi-Fi. This bundle is a unique and comprehensive package that makes personal computers easy to set up, easy to use, and effortlessly connect to any Wi-Fi network. The Easy Wi-Fi package contains five main features; Managed Supplicant, Connection Manager Framework, Wi-Fi Protected Setup, CCX and Hotspot Login.
Robust Security
The Devicescape Supplicant offers complete support for WEP, WPA/WPA2 Personal and Enterprise, and includes a broad set of EAP methods for comprehensive support of secure Wi-Fi networks in the home and business.
Simple Connectivity
Devicescape’s Connection Manager Framework handles set-up, management and termination of Wi-Fi connections. It automatically selects the best match from its preferred list of networks based on priority and security level, and manages the connection process, selecting alternative matches in cases where the first choice fails to connect.
Easy Device Setup
Devicescape’s implementation of the Wi-Fi Protected Setup standard makes the configuration of secure personal wireless networks as simple as pushing a button or entering a PIN code. PC manufacturers can now offer wireless devices that are supremely simple to connect to a secure home or small business network.
Enterprise Security
In order to make your personal computer compatible with the large base of Cisco enterprise WLAN installations, Devicescape Easy Wi-Fi contains optional support for Cisco Compatible Extensions. This feature is compatible up the latest version from Cisco (CCXv5).
Automated Hotspot Access
Devicescape’s Hotspot Login feature allows laptop manufacturers to offer a customized and branded hotspot-login solution for all of their wireless operator customers throughout the world. Users can seamlessly connect to hotspots without having to constantly remember and reenter information. Once users have entered their username and password the first time, they will then be able to connect automatically. It even understands roaming arrangements between the many networks operators and aggregators, and knows how to get the user connected at any location their credentials are valid without any additional interaction
