The Guardian
July 10, 2015

Market disruptors are always drawn to areas in which they can make a visible difference, usually because those areas have been ignored or underserviced. Smartphone users exist within a connectivity landscape filled with cellular and Wi-Fi signals. As they navigate this landscape the quality of their smartphone connection varies dramatically. But quality of connection is only one measure of a user’s overall connectivity experience. Wi-Fi may often deliver the superior connection indoors but it lacks the refinement offered by cellular.

Telecoms Tech

How Will Wi-Fi and Cell Work Together?

TELECOMTV

This year MWC is going to host some interesting intersections (or maybe roundabouts). Here’s a taster. In fact, except for a couple of territories (Hong Kong and Korea, Finland perhaps) it’s been the only way the data appetites of smart devices could be sated.
