SAN BRUNO , Calif. - May 1, 2006 - Devicescape Software, a leader in wireless software for service-enabled devices, today announced the expansion of its executive team with the addition of Jean-Marc Matteini as Vice President of Service Provider Business. As the visionary behind the Philips Connected Planet Program and the Philips Streamium brand, Matteini brings a wide range of experience in digital media and consumer electronics to the Devicescape team. In this new role, Matteini will drive new product initiatives and partnerships that will enable device manufacturers to develop new products that interact directly with information and entertainment services.

Prior to joining Devicescape, Matteini spent eight years at Philips Consumer Electronics. During his tenure, Matteini’s responsibilities included: GM Applications & Services, GM of the Digital Connectivity Platform, GM Internet Audio, Director of Business Development Home Networking, Development/Product Strategy & Planning Manager InternetTV, and Development Manager, Digital Photo Studio. Matteini has also held a variety of management roles at Global Village Communications, Diamond Multimedia, PictureTel, Eastman Kodak and Xerox Imaging Systems.
