Devicescape’s Curated Virtual Network Maximizes the Reach of Cincinnati Bell’s Wireless Network
SAN BRUNO, Calif., October 29, 2012 – Devicescape, the WiFi offload company, today announced that Cincinnati Bell (NYSE: CBB) will deploy Devicescape’s offload solution, anchored by Devicescape’s Curated Virtual Network (CVN). Cincinnati Bell’s wireless customers who use Android smartphones will now have automatic access to the CVN of over 11 million hotspots and growing, enabling a superior end-user experience and additional network capacity to better handle growing levels of data demand.
Cincinnati Bell will include the Devicescape offload service pre-integrated with their new Android devices. The service will also be made available for more than a dozen existing Android phones through an application called CB WiFi, which can be downloaded initially from the Google Play Marketplace.
