Dave Fraser, CEO, will explain how operators can apply virtualization to public Wi-Fi in an effort to unlock new opportunities

SAN BRUNO, Calif., June 17, 2014—Devicescape today announced that Dave Fraser, CEO, will lead the discussion on how operators can apply virtualization to public Wi-Fi in order to more easily monetize the entire data experience, at the Wi-Fi Offload Summit in Palo Alto, June 18-19, 2014.

Fraser will deliver a speech entitled: “Applying Virtualization to Public Wi-Fi” at 11:50 a.m. on Thursday, June 19. During the presentation, he will address how operators can participate across the full spectrum of mobile data connectivity—on cellular, carrier-deployed Wi-Fi, private Wi-Fi and public Wi-Fi networks—and how through a virtualized strategy they can offer their customers an “Always Best Connected” experience.

Fraser will also participate as a panelist with industry executives on the Thursday afternoon panel, “Massive aggregated Wi-Fi:  Are mass-market wireless services moving ‘over-the-top’?”  The half-hour panel, which will be moderated by Claus Hetting, chairman of the Wi-Fi Offload Summit, starts at 1:45 p.m.
