Devicescape to Speak on Monetization of the Entire Data Experience at Wi-Fi Global Congress 2014

CMO David Nowicki to present on day one of Informa’s annual Wi-Fi conference in Barcelona

SAN BRUNO, Calif., October 21st, 2014 — Devicescape today announced that Chief Marketing Officer David Nowicki is to speak at the 2014 Wi-Fi World Summit, leading a discussion on the opportunity that exists for operators to monetize the full spectrum of smartphone usage — and not just the time spent on the cellular network.

Nowicki’s presentation — entitled: ‘Monetize the entire data experience by delivering the Always Best Connection’— will highlight the benefits to operators in managing the end user’s connectivity across all bearer technologies. By retaining involvement in their customers’ experience across private, public and carrier Wi-Fi as well as the cellular network, operators can ensure that their customers are kept ‘always best connected’, increasing customer satisfaction and driving greater customer lifetime value.

The presentation is scheduled for 12::45pm on Day One, October 28th, during a session dedicated to ‘Business model evolution: Expanding the commercial reach of the Wi-Fi ecosystem,’ chaired by Daryl Schoolar of Ovum.

Devicescape operates the world’s largest Wi-Fi service platform, which includes a Curated Virtual Network (CVN) of more than 20 million amenity Wi-Fi hotspots. The solution has been commercially deployed by operators across North America and Europe to tens of millions of users. Devicescape currently manages two billion monthly consumer Wi-Fi connections and monitors over 315 million Wi-Fi hotspots in total.
