WiFi Offload Innovator Devicescape Names David Nowicki as Chief Marketing Officer

Veteran Executive Brings Nearly 20 Years of Mobile Data Industry Experience

SAN BRUNO, Calif., September 10, 2012 — Devicescape, the leader in WiFi offload services, today announced the appointment of David Nowicki as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Mr. Nowicki will be responsible for leading global marketing and product management activities. Devicescape will also draw upon Mr. Nowicki’s extensive experience in new product introduction andinternational business development to drive the company’s overall strategy and plans for growth.

Mr. Nowicki’s career spans 25 years providing marketing, product and general management leadership for mobile data and technology companies, from startups to Fortune 50 innovators. He joins Devicescape from Alcatel-Lucent Ventures, where he served as General Manager of a mobile video technology venture, commercializing new technologies out of Bell Labs. Prior to this, he held vice president of marketing and product management executive positions at mobile industry pioneers Airvana, Bytemobile (now part of Citrix) and ArrayComm. In these roles, Mr. Nowicki consistently built innovative product lines with impressive revenue growth and global reach. Nowicki’s passion for mobile data formed while living in Tokyo during the late ’90s, where he worked on the world’s first widespread deployment of fractional frequency reuse software technology inside a microcellular network.

Mr. Nowicki holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics from University of California, Davis; and master’s degrees in Business Administration and Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
