Devicescape Agent ConnectWhen embedded or installed into a wireless device, this module enables the device to automatically login to a Wi-Fi hotspot or municipal network. The Connect module communicates with the Devicescape Server to retrieve login credentials and instructions on how to navigate login web pages. Devicescape Agent Connect uses this information to authenticate the user and their device – without need for a browser or user intervention. Devicescape Agent WPSMaking Wi-Fi usable by the masses, this module enables simple wireless network setup in a home or small office. Based on the new Wi-Fi Protected Setup specification from the Wi-Fi Alliance, the WPS module supports easy setup with the use of either a pushbutton method or simple PIN codes. This product features a small memory footprint, and can be used with any existing Wi-Fi supplicant, including the Devicescape Agent Supplicant. Devicescape Agent SupplicantThis module handles all client-side authentication and security operations for a wireless device. All standard home and corporate wireless security schemes can be accommodated with support for WEP, WPA/WPA2 Personal and Enterprise, and a broad set of EAP modes. In addition, compatibility with the large base of Cisco enterprise WLAN installations is assured with optional support for the Cisco Compatible Extensions version 4 (CCXv4). Device design flexibility is provided with diverse operating system support, including Windows Mobile 5.0, Windows CE, and Linux. |
Devicescape AgentWith Devicescape Agent, manufacturers can now deliver wireless devices that are effortless to use in the home, office and public hotspot. Device designers can leverage any of the Devicescape Agent modules alone or in combination. Devicescape provides full documentation, APIs, and email and phone-based support in connection with the Devicescape Agent.
